Omotosho said it is high time Nigerians begin to see the potentials hidden in females and be ready to tap into it for national development.

He further made a call on philanthropists to rise to the need of sport men and women in the country adding that sports have been a good unifying issue which need more support for them to do the country proud.

“Philanthropy is not an individual effort. Yes, we have a team called Sure Babes but we need to bring in more people on board, partner with them to achieve greater results for grassroots football especially among females. Personally, I will do my best to make this team go higher and better. For me, Football teaches team spirit and it is essential for nation building. We should learn to imbibe unity as is been displayed by football players. Sports is not just entertainment, it has a lesson for us as Nigerians.”

Earlier in his remark, the Chairman of Sure Babes, Coach M.J. Daoudu commended the unflinching support given by Dr Mike Omotosho adding that his Philanthropic effort is unparalleled among his peers in sports sponsorship.
