The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has threatened to act against South Africans by staging protest across the country over the killing of five Nigerians in their country.

Mr Adeyemi Azeez, the National Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the association made this known in a statement issued to newsmen in Abuja on Tuesday.

He described the killing as worrisome “to hear the consistent killing of Nigerians who had gone to South Africa for their legitimate businesses is terrible.

He called on concerned people of Nigeria and nations to act urgently to stop the menace from every quarter before the association would begin to act others.

“The latest killings has shown that the South Africans will not renege on this inhuman act of killing our people.

“As a result of this, we are also ready to make war against them within the next two weeks.

“We are not only ready to break all ties between our country and theirs, but we would resolute to sending every South African back to their country.

“We would also close down their businesses in Nigeria permanently if they refused to stop the killing in the next few days,” Azeez said.

It would be recalled that the South Africans rested from their mean approach toward Nigerians about two months ago.

“Recently, we wanted to start protesting but we stepped down owing to the promise made by the Counsellor in-charge of Political Affairs at the South African High Commission, Anna-Maria Jojozi to meet with our President.

“Jojozi said the purpose of the meeting would be to find a lasting solution to the needless killings.

“To our surprise, more than five persons have been killed within the space of 10 days, to make things worse, they have also burnt down business owned by Nigerians such as car ports, stores among others.

“Hence, it is important to note that we shall reciprocate same by closing down their businesses permanently and send their citizens packing.”

“To this end, we are putting all South Africans on red alert to return quickly to their country before the trailer of Aluta knocks them down.”

He, therefore, warned that South Africans indulging in this evil act should desist before the student’s body takes action.
