Kwara command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corpse has debunked rumours of detaining under aged children in the command’s custody.
In a statement from the Command Public Relations Officer, Ayeni Olasunkanmi made available to journalists said that the state Commandant, Mr. Iskil Ayinla Makinde debunks the rumours as posted on a particular social media platform put the records staright.
In the statement said: “One Pa David Dako from Oro town in irepodun lodged a complain about one of his sons, Samuel who was suspected to have been abducted in a church, EVIDENCE OF CHRIST CHURCH, located along Oja tuntun, Agbooba, Ilorin.
“Three members of the church were invited for investigation. The investigation led some officers to a building at Agbooba where it was discovered that there were some other people including some children who the invited people who also claimed to be members of the church.
“At the moment, the investigation is still on going concerning the matter. The commandant enjoins all parents to always try and know the whereabout of their wards, who they move or play with, who they socialise or worship with so as to guide and guard them from being brainwashed to commit crimes.”
