Wife of Senate president of Nigeria, H.E. Mrs Toyin Ojora Saraki, Founder-President of the Wellbeing Foundation Africa (WBFA), is due to deliver a keynote address on the ‘Data Revolution’ at Devex World in Washington D.C. this week.
On Tuesday 12th June, Mrs Saraki is expected to address how recent and future developments in technology can be harnessed to improve health outcomes for women, children and adolescents. This is a followup on her recent high-level engagements at the World Health Assembly in Geneva, where she was fulfilling her role of Special Adviser to the Independent Advisory Group (IAG) of the WHO Regional Office for Africa.
Prior to the address, Mrs Saraki has been invited to tutor Devex World Fellows – young people who aspire to set up their own foundations, charities and enterprises in which she would mentoring young people to reach their potential will be a major theme of her engagements.
Devex World will also play host to Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization, amongst other luminaries. Devex is the media platform for the global development community.
