Sotitobire Saga: Arrested Suspect confessed being hired by two clergy men to kidnap Gold Kolawole

Police command in Ondo state has confirmed the arrest of a self confessed abductor, who claimed he abducted Gold Kolawole, the one year old boy that got missing at Sotitobire Miracle Centre at Oshinle quarters, Akure since 10th November, 2019.

The Command spokesman, Mr Femi Joseph who confirmed the arrest said the 39yr-old man, Elike Chubuzor explained that the arrested suspect claimed being in possession of the baby in his custody in Akure.

The missing baby had generated lots of controversy as you will recall that the Founder of Sotitobire Miracle Centre, Prophet Alfa Babatunde and six other church members had been accused of complicity over the missing boy, Gold and were remanded by the police.

The crises over the inexplicable disappearance of the boy got to a climax on December 18, 2019, when some angry youths suspecting the founder of the church attacked and razed the church upon rumours that the corpse of the missing baby was exhumed from the church altar.

However, Chubuzor who also said he bears  “Adamu”, is said to have confessed that two popular clergymen commissioned him to kidnap the missing boy to blackmail Prophet Alfa Babatunde of Sotitobire Miracle Centre.

With this development the two clergymen in the picture will be called upon to state their role in the alleged kidnap and abduction of Gold Kolawole.
