Owode Market Fire: Omupo Community Commiserates With Olofa, Victims

Omupo Community in Ifelodun local government area of kwara state have join myriads of sympathizers who commiserated with Olofa of Offa, Oba Muftau Gbadamosi Esuwoye II and people of Offa town over the recent Owode Market fire incident.

 

Sons and daughters of  Omupo Community, in a letter signed by the National President of Omupo Descendants Union (ODU), Dr Moniyose Olorunsola  Afolabi, described the fire out brake that destroyed properties worth millions of naira at Owode market, Offa, as very unfortunate.

 

“On behalf of the Executive Committee of Omupo Descendants Union (ODU) and the good people of Omupo in general, please be assured that we are with you especially at this time of great loss to Offa and it’s people” the statement said.

 

The statement pictured the import of Offa town and the strategic role that Owode market play in economy of the region as center to all neighbouring communities in kwara state and beyond.

 

“Considering the importance of the market to the commercial, economic and social wellbeing of not only the people of Offa and it’s immediate environs, but also the entire Kwara state, the implementation of an incidence of the magnitude that just occurred is unimaginable”

 

“With the quality of your leadership, the strong will of your members and  The grace of Almighty God, we are sure the market will soon return to its enviable position and huge losses will be recovered with greater gains to all that are directly affected by the incidence” the statement read in part.

 

Meanwhile, the Olomu of Omupo, Oba Yakub Adebayo Buari also commiserated with Olofa of Offa and the entire victims of the Owode market fire disaster.
