The Speaker, Osun State House of Assembly, Dr. Najeem Salaam has urged Ministries and Agencies in the state to improve on their revenue generation.
Dr. Salaam made the call while declaring open the 2018 budget defence by Ministries and Agencies in Oshogbo.
He said the House would be thorough in the consideration of the estimates presented by the Ministries and Agencies.
The Speaker also advised them to block all leakages of revenue generated by them.
In his remark, the Chairman, House Committee on Finance and Appropriation, Mr. Kamil Oyedele asked the Ministries and Agencies to submit their revenue plan which will determine the approval of their budget.
The budget defence by Ministries and Agencies which commenced today will end next week Friday.
