Only the Oppressed can build a new Nigeria = TPAP-M

The People’s Alternative Political Movement (TPAP – M), an NGO has said that only the oppressed and their allies can build a new Nigeria.

Mr Jaye Gaskia, the organisations Narional Secretary disclosed this in Abuja at a news conference on the state of the nation tagged ‘A New Nigeria is possible’.

Gaakia said that as Nigeria observed her 61st independence anniversary from colonial subjugation, there was need to provide adequate welfare and living standard for the citizens.

“We are concerned that the Nigeria state and the condition of living, existence of Nigerians is yet to be decolonised.

“This is alarmed by the current dire existential crises foisted on our people and country by the action and inaction of the ruling class,” he said.

Gaskia added that the politics between the north and south had become embarassing, shameful and unfortunate.

“Since the Crisis of the ruling class misgovernance, greed, incompetence deepened, the unity and solidarity of the victim of poverty-generating policies at Federal, State and Local Government level have continued to be a major casualty.

“The consequences is that poor people across Nigeria who lives precarious existence have been coned to line up behind their enemies who keeps using tribe, religion, and geo-politics to manipulate, confuse and divide them,” he added.

The national secretary said that the banditry, insurgency did not just come from nothing,saying that they came as consequences from the ruling class economic and social injustice.

Adding that the mass poverty and mass misery, which stands side by side with the enormous wealth of the rich on the other side.

He stresses that its only the oppressed class and its allies that can stabilize the polity in Nigeria

“Hence the TPAP – M that only a socialist transformation can resolve most of the contradictions, tragic, and escalating horrors of continued dependence on foreign forces that impose under development, poverty, unemployment, debt salary, and capital economic policies that destroy our people, divide them, anddesteoy our environment

The TPAP – M secretariat said that the banditry, insurgency did not just come from nothing, that they comes as consequences from the ruling class economic and social injustice.

He said that the mass poverty and mass misery, which stood side by side with the enormous wealth of the rich on the other side was worrisome.

He stressed that only the oppressed class and its allies could stabilise the polity in Nigeria.

“In this situations, it is only the oppressed and its allies that can stabilise the polity in equalising opportunities across the multicity of primordial and confessional divided.

“Hence the TPAP – M perspective is that only a socialist transformation can resolve most of the contradictions, tragic, and escalating horrors of continued dependence on foreign forces that impose under development, poverty, unemployment, debt salary, and capital economic policies that destroy our people, divide them, and destroy our environment.

“This is why we call on the oppressed and toiling working class and people of Nigeria to be vigilant, to reject all the effort by their enemy to divine them.

” They need to embrace solidarity among themselves and to harken to our call to take their destinies in their own hands and rally behind the banner of the struggle for the socialist transformation of Nigeria,” Gaskia said.

Gaskia, however, appeal to all citizens to join the movement in transforming this great nation.

“The Peoples Alternative Political Movement (TPAP – M) is a movement embracing the solidarity of the oppressed, we enjoin all the exploited and oppressed classes and citizens of Nigeria to join hands with us as we organise and mobilise to achieve our social emancipation as a people, and nation liberation as a nation”.
