NGO Canvasses FG On partnership with Private Oranizations On innovation

The Convener of Annual School Needs Expo, (ASNE), Emem Opashi has called on the Federal Government to foster a partnership arrangement with organized private sector on unique innovations that would make the country’s education system compete globally.

 

Opashi, an education expert made the call while addressing newsmen during ASNE 2019, tagged: “Value through Education’’ held in Abuja, also explained that the annual expo was aimed at empowering the country through education.

 

He also stated the need for innovations while encouraging h stakeholders to look inward and make policies that would add more value and quality to the educational system.

 

According to her, the expo will serve an experimental platform, which is also a unique way of learning.

 

She added that it is an avenue for public and private schools to synergize, noting that it can also help schools proprietors to upgrade their schools and make it a better one.

 

Also, the head of the division of Education Resource Centre, Josiah Festus, stressed that the provision of school needs was an essential part of school.

 

He commended the ASNE organisers for complementing government efforts by contributing their own quota to the education system in the country.
