The Spiritual Father and Chairman of Cherubim and Seraphim Church Movement Worldwide, His Grace, Most Reverend Dr Samuel Abidoye has urged Politicians to shun violence and allow for peace in Nigeria.
Speaking at the headquarters of the church at Ilorin Ogbomosho expressway on Wednesday through his aide, Pastor Moses Ademola Popoola, the Conference Supervising Pastor, the spiritual father said that politicians in Nigeria should put the country first in all their activities adding that the fear of God should be their guiding principle because without it wisdom will elude them.

Abidoye said that the increasing selfishness among Nigerians is the bane of crime adding that if we remain our brothers keepers as it had always been in time past, crime will reduce warning that those who seem to seek selfish satisfactions end up inviting trouble into their environment.
Speaking on the essence of the annual convention of the Cherubim and Seraphim movement another stalwart of the church Special Apostle Nathaniel Adewale Ayokanmi, Chairman International Organizing Committee said that the annual programme was aimed at rejuvenating the pastors in the C & S churches nationwide towards their spiritual assignment.
He said that his church has a vital role to play among the Christian fold in Nigeria adding that it had a good number of members in the national executive of the Christian Association of Nigeria and so it behoves on them to lift the banner of the church higher wherever they go.
Rounding up his message to Nigerians, Rev, Abidoye said that John 3. 27 is his anchor word for all politicians adding that no man can receive anything except it was given him from God.
