HOW TO DO THE TUCK PLANCHE
Welcome, today we will be focusing on the Tuck Planche. This static exercise is a great move to progress to other advance skills trainings like the handstand, Planche , handstand push up and lots more..
Exercise Summary:
- Straight arms
- Elbows locked out
- Scapular protracted
- Body Parallel to the ground
- Legs tucked in
How to perform the Tuck Planche
The tuck Planche is performed with legs tucked in between the arms. Arms is needed to be straight and the elbow locked out.
Scapula needs to be protracted, so push shoulder down. Keep a tighted core and a hollow body.
Hand Placement
You can use different hand placement ( fingers forward, fingers to side , finger tips hold, and fingers backward)
Use the one you feel most comfortable with but keep attention to don’t over stress your wrist ( you can reduce the stress on your wrist by using a pushup bars)
