Judiciary  In Ekiti Begins Annual vacation from Aug.10

The Chief Judge in Ekiti State,Justice Ayodeji Daramola on Thursday announced that trial of civil actions in the High courts across the State shall be suspended from Monday, Aug.10 2020 to mark the beginning of year 2020 annual vacation
The Chief Judge who gave the annual vacation notice said it’s in tandemn with Order 45 Rule (4)(D) of Ekiti State High Court (Civil Procedure) Rules, 2011 tagged “Annual Vacation).”
A press release made available to Journalists in Ado-Ekiti by the Chief Registrar, Mr Johnson Apuabi stated “that criminal matters and urgent civil motions will be heard during the vacation while civil actions may be heard by leave of vacation judges and based on agreement of concerned parties.
“Resumption for normal court activities begins on Monday 21st of September, 2020. During the vacation, all courts in the state will remain open and operate throughout the vacation period”
