The Commissioner of Police, Kwara state command , Muhammed Lawal Bagega has promised that hard times awaits criminal elements in Kwara state, warniong them to relocate wherever could be safe for them.
Lawal-Bagega who was addressing Journalist at the Police headquarters in Ilorin upon his assumption of duty as the new Commissioner of Police in Kwara state, said as a torough bred investigation officer, he would make explore modern community policing strategy to ensure safety and security in the nooks and crannies of the state.
The new CP said his command will patner with credible sources to ensure sanity in the state explaining that upon his assumption of duty all black spots have been raided to send signals to criminal elements and send them away from the state.
The Police Boss called on residents of the state to return to the old ways of monitoring and reporting strange faces and visitors in their domain to ward off influx of alliens into their communities.
He further noted that he will adopt the best policing strategy to ensure the reduction of crime to the minimum while urging the people of Kwara to remain vigilant and report any suspecious movement around them for police prompt action.
The seasoned police investigator maintained that the command will strengthen it’s anti-Kidnapping, anti Cultism unit to nip any if such incidents in the bud.
