A student of the Federal Polytechnic Offa, whose identity is still unknown and two other passengers have reportedly died after the vehicle that was conveying them had accident.
It was also gathered that three other students and a lecturer from Offa poly who were among the occupants of the Toyota bus were injured.
The Public Relations Officer of the institution, Mr. Yinka Iroye confirmed the death of the student and other casualties from the institution.
In his reaction on the development, the Kwara State Sector Commander, the Federal Road Safety, FRSC, Mr. Sunny Maku, also confirmed the incident stating that the passengers were travelling along the Ilorin-Omupo Road where the accident occurred.
According to him, the accident which involved a Toyota bus which was later burnt to ashes added that 12 people were involved in the accident.
He said that, two people had died at the time FRSC was filing this reports, while nine people were injured. He said one person was not injured, adding that the victims were referred to Oluseyi hospital.
