Ekiti Governorship: Former LG Chairman Backs Segun Oni

Former Ikole Local Government Caretaker Chairman and a chieftain of All Progressive Congress,(APC),  Chief Rasak Aladetuyi has thrown his support behind Chief Segun Oni in the forthcoming Ekiti governorship election, calling on the delegate to vote for Oni emasse.

 

Aladetuyi described Oni,  the former Ekiti Ekiti and the deputy National Chairman South, of APC as a man who meant well for Ekiti.

 

The former council boss and Special Adviser to immediate past governor of Ekiti, Dr Kayode Fayemi made call while interacting with newsmen in Ikoke-Ekiti on Thursday.

 

According to him,  a vote for Oni would bring about a turn around development to all nooks and crannies of the state.

 

“I am calling on our  delegates to ensure they cast the votes for a pure and real man like Segundo Oni to be the APC flagbearer in the 2018 Governorship race.

 

“Let us embrace this wonderful man,  he is pure, real and he meant well for Ekiti.

 

“During his first tenure,  Ekiti experienced development,  he never touched local governments’ allocation, the allocation was coming directly from  the federal government.

 

“He has done it before to everyone admiration,  he will perform better again; if given the chance again,” Aladetuyi said.

 

The former council boss said he believed that, ‘Segun Oni’s kingdom will come agains in Ekiti by God’s grace.”

 

Chief Segun Oni is one of the 2018 governorship aspirants in Ekiti under the platform of APC.
