DISCLOSED! Why Police Officer, An ACP Christopher Osakue Commited Suicide

An Assistant Commissioner of Police, identified as Christopher Osakue, was reported to have committed suicide in Benin, the Edo State capital.

According to reports from anonymous sources it was gathered that the late Osakue allegedly shot himself in the head with his service pistol in his residence located on Upper Sokponba on Wednesday.
The deceased was said to be demonstrating emotional challenges the cause of which is not known to anyone as at the time of this report
The deceased was said to have sent a woman and a little boy, said to be living with him, on an errand before killing himself.
Though the deceased did not leave any suicide note behind the source said he suspect that the deceased was under a spiritual attack or spell.
Earlier, the source reveal that that the ACP suffered partial stroke a few years back and was gradually recovering from it before the incident occurred.
The source further disclosed that neighbours attention was drawn to the officers residence when they had a gunshot at about 5pm on December 28.‎‎
The source said, “Another source in the area said she heard a gunshot inside the ACP’s residence about 5pm that fateful Wednesday.
“She added that after the sound of the gun, a frightening silence engulfed the entire building.”
Until his death the late police officer was said to be in charge of training and development at the state police command after his recent posting from Ondo State.‎‎
Few days earlier, late Osakue was said to have played host to some youths in his area especially on the last Christmas.
Security operatives from the Ugbekun police division were said to have later stormed his residence apparently conducting investigation.
The Edo State Commissioner of Police, Haliru Gwandu, disclosed that preliminary reports indicated that the senior police officer’s death as a case of suicide but said further investigation would still be carried out.
Gwandu also explained that the pistol which he allegedly used to commit the act was signed for at the Ondo State Police command before he was posted to Edo.
Substantiating the suicide option, the deceased it was allegedly sent a woman and the little boy living with him on an errand before shooting himself.
