CoS: Gambari,  A National Treasure…Oba Gbadamosi

His Royal Majesty, Oba Mufutau Oloyede Gbadamosi, Ajagungbade I, Esuwoye II, Oloffa of Offa has described the appointment of Professor Ibrahim Agboola Gambari as a good omen that will bring his wealth of experience to bear in working with President Muhammadu Buhari led administration.

Oba Gbadamosi made this remark in his congratulatory message made available to Journalists in Ilorin on Thursday shortly after the Presidency confirmed the appointment of Professor  Gambari as the new Chief of Staff to the President during the Federal Executive Council meeting in Abuja on Wednesday.

The revered monarch also described Professor Gambari as an illustrious son of Kwara that all can proud of while he also advised the new CoS to deploy all his arsenal in helping the administration to revamp the nation’s economy via priority focus on agriculture.

Oba Gbadamosi added that the new CoS was well deserved considering his track record in public service and enthused that the choice of Prof. Ibrahim Agboola Gambari is one of the luminous appointments made in recent time.

He wished the accomplished diplomat success in his new office and urged Nigerians to continue to support the present administration as it is poised to stabilize the economy amidst the challenges posed by the global Covid-19 pandemic.

 

The monarch also congratulates Hajia Farida Dankaka and Mrs. Mistura AbdulKareem who were both appointed as Chairman, Federal  Character Commission and Ambassador Designate respectively praying that their tenure in office shall be successful and remarkable.

Oba Mufutau Oloyede Gbadamosi appreciated the President and Commander in Chief of Armed Forces of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari for his ingenuity in the appointment of the trio who by providence hail from Kwara State.

While he prayed for the President and his family, the monarch urged the appointees to give their best as much is expected of them at this period of world history to prove their mettle to Nigerians.

 

 

Speaking on COVID-19 pandemic Oloffa of Offa admonished Nigerians to adhere to safety protocols put in place by the government and its agencies to prevent further spread of the virus and halt the pandemic.
