Cleric Charge Congregation on Parenting by Example

A Cleric, Pastor Taiye Oladipo has stressed the need for parents to play a greater role and exercise responsibility in the proper upbringing of their Children.

Pastor Oladipo made the call today in his sermon delivered at the Sunday School thanksgiving of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Ilorin District Headquarters.

The Cleric who spoke on the topic “the role of parents and teachers in the upbringing of Children”, called on parents to be alive to their responsibilities and train their Children in the proper way and the way of God.

He urged them to pray fervently for their Children and teach them to be responsible in the society to ensure an egalitarian Nation.

Pastor Oladipo explained that society was in bad shape and witness increase in vices as a result of the failure of parents to train their Children properly.

The Cleric implored parents to be of good examples and lay a good foundation for their Children.

Speaking in preparation for the monthly forthcoming second Friday of the month interdenominational service with the theme “A Call to Victory”, the Primate of the Resolution Church of Christ National headquarters off Coca Cola road ilorin, Doctor Martins Olobatoke emphasised the need for Christians to always look unto God for solutions in all circumstances.

Primate Olobatoke noted with delight that God is able to do all things if only Christians could rely solely on Him as the Alpha and Omega.

Prophet Peter Oladipo of the C & S Movement Church, Ipetu-lgbomina called on Nigerians regardless of their tribal background not to relent in prayer for continue peaceful environment saying that development could only be recorded under a peaceful atmosphere.

Pastor Aremu Abioye of the Ark of God Covenant Faith Bible Ministry, Amoyo who centered his message on “anointing for a breakthrough” enjoined Christians to remain holy unto God to enable the anointing to perfect what their heart desire from God.

Pastor ldowu Constain of the New Life Holy Trinity Chapel, Gaa-Akanbi, ilorin admonished Christians to adhere strictly to the  Holy book by imbibing the teachings of the scriptures in their daily activities to reflect Jesus Christ in them.

Pastor Kayode Omotosho of the C A C ‘Anusogo lorimi kilanko’ village, Ilorin identified appreciating God through Thanksgiving as the only way to receive more blessings from above.
