BREAKING…Russia 2018: France Crushes Croatia To Lift FIFA 2018 World Cup

The French World Cup team at the 2018 meet are presently celebrating the victory over their Croatia counterpart after a 4 – 2 win over Croatia.

When the heat was on Croatia, Mario Mandzukic scored an own-goal to open scoring, after which referee Nestor Pitana awarded a penalty to Les Blues whose attension was called to an infringement and a Video Assistant Referee (VAR) after 38 minutes. Antonio Griezmann converted the spot kick, sending goalkeeper Subasic the wrong way.

The France victory was attained under the watch of the President of France, Emmanuel Macron who was drenched with a downpour that started immediately after the tension-soaked match.

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump has sent in his congratulatory message to France for te victory and Russia for an excellent hosting.

According to the Twitter handle Trump said “Congratulations to France, who played extraordinary soccer, on winning the 2018 World Cup. Additionally, congratulations to President Putin and Russia for putting on a truly great World Cup Tournament — one of the best ever!
