BREAKING: Kwara 2023: Aisha Ahman Pategi close ranks with Gov. Abdulrazaq, endorses him for second term

After a prolonged feud with her boss, leading to her resignation from office, Aisha Ahman Patigi, former commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs has closed ranks with Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and further endorse him for second term in office.

The former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs served in Governor Abdulrazaq’s cabinet from 2019 to 28th August,2020 resigned following a purported official dispute.

Aisha Ahman Pategi who decamped to People’s Democratic Party and contested the Kwara North Senatorial slot under the platform of the Party (PDP) but lost out was a member Kwara North Atiku Abubakar /Okowa presidential campaign team.

Contrary to expectations, Aisha Ahman Pategi who makes a political U-turn endorsing the re-election bid of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for a second term in office and made this known in a recent comment on Kwara Commission, a popular social media group among Kwarans, joined forces with the progressives calling for the re-election of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq in the March 11th Governorship and State House of Assembly polls.

In her words, “Absolutely, I work for the progressive in the past election. I will do same come Saturday Insha Allah #AAP for #GAA 4+4. “

Aisha Ahman Patigi reiterated that as a progressive her decision was borne out of respect for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT), now President elect in the 2023 election and her discussions with relevant stakeholders.

“No other side dear… It’s all about the people of Kwara, especially KN and Patigi. FYI: Ashiwaju has been a long-time mentor and father to me.”

Aisha Ahman Pategi added that Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s commitment to Kwara North 2027 agenda earns him a place as the best candidate for second term in office to consolidate his achievements across all sectors.
