Bola Ahmed Tinubu Solidarity Vanguard, BATSV, has felicitated with the people of Kwara state on the peaceful conduct of the recently concluded bye election in Patigi local government constituency of the state.
In a congratulatory letter made available to our correspondent in Ilorin, on Sunday 15th March, 2020 by the Director, Media and Publicity, Dr. Babatunde Salami, the National Chairman of the solidarity group, Dr. Dare Owotomobi commended the All Progressives Congress, APC stake holders in the state for success in the election while commiserating with the family of the deceased lawmaker whose demise created need for the elections.
According to the release: “The National Chairman of Bola Ahmed Tinubu Solidarity Vanguard, BATSV, Dr. Dare Owotomobi as well as the entire National Leadership of the group congratulates the Executive Governor of Kwara State, His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq on the victory of the Kwara State House Assembly Bye-election held last Saturday.”
“The National Chairman also fecilitates with the Kwara State APC Chairman, Hon Bashir Bolarinwa and the entire APC family in Kwara State. In the same vein, Dr Owotomobi sends the BATSV condolences to the family of the deceased House of Assembly member late Ahmed Rufai. He prays Allmighty Allah would give the family the spirit to accept the loss of the family member.”
The Chairman of BATSV also urge the Honourable-elect, Ahmed Rufai Adams to see the victory as a call to serve fatherland while wishing him a successful tenure in office adding that the Honorable-elect should not only continue with the good work of his late brother but to improve on it to justify the trust and confidence reposed on the family.
