2023: Ambassador Onijala emerges Accord Party Senatorial Candidate in kwara

Ambassador Olutola John Onijala has emerged the Senatorial Candidate of the Accord party for Kwara South Senatorial election for the 2023 general election.

In a release made avialble to our correspondent signed by  Olutola John Onijala Campaign Organisation (OJO), the The Accord party held its primaries at Muslim Community Primary school, Taiwo road, Omuaran, where the party affirmed  Olutola John Onijala as the Senatorial Candidate of the party.

In his acceptance Speech, Ambassador Olutola John Onijala addressed distinguished party members, Elders, Executive officers, and Party Leaders in Kwara state  including the good people of Kwara South, from Oyun to Offa, Ifelodun to Irepodun, Ekiti to Oke Ero, and ISIN.

He said that he considered it a great privilege and honour to be given the opportunity to serve as the next Senator of Kwara South.  

“My intent of contesting for the position of Senator, is to bring meaningful development to Kwara South, and contribute in a robust way in making laws that will be people centered.

“At a time of desperation for inclusive good governance for socioeconomic development. All stakeholders, and lovers of Kwara South people should embrace a broad based vision, the Kwara South Vision to promote unity, peace, progress and prosperity of Kwara South.

“I have decided to work with our party men and Kwara South stakeholders to  run a merit -based campaign involving all stakeholders and devoid of social, religious, tribal and cultural sentiments to galvanize support  towards winning the Kwara South Senatorial seat.

 “Together we shall win the Kwara South Senatorial election come 2023 to ameliorate the devastating effect of extreme poverty in Kwara South. Thank you.”
